Unlike traditional air fresheners that simply mask odours, Unicorn Hygienics fragrances use advanced malodour counteractant technology to neutralise unpleasant smells on a molecular level, reducing malodour by at least 70% and creating a consistently fresh environment.

Our fragrances are carefully blended to reveal layered scent profiles over time, from the light top notes to the heartful mid notes, and finally the lasting base notes - providing a evolving long lasting sensory experiences.

It's All About The - Top / Middle / Base!

Our fragrance formulations are precisely developed to release top, middle, and base notes in succession, creating a layered and evolving scent experience over time.

  • Top Notes: The top notes of a fragrance are typically light and fleeting, and represent the first impression (0-15 seconds). These are generally the first to fade given their light molecular structure.
  •  Mid Notes: The middle notes are considered the heart of the fragrance. They last longer than the top notes (15-30 seconds) and have a strong influence on the base notes.
  •  Base Notes: Base: The base notes are the final fragrance that appear once the top notes are completely evaporated (30+ seconds). The base notes mingle with the heart notes to create the full body of the fragrance but are typically associated with the dry-down period.
