What You’ll Need:

• Puress Dispenser unit

• 2 x AA batteries (if not pre-installed)

• 265ml Puress aerosol refill

• Screws and wall plugs (included) or adhesive strips (optional)

• Screwdriver and drill (if wall-mounting with screws)

Step 1: Choose the Right Location

• Select a location approximately 1.8–2.2 metres (6–7 feet) above floor level.

• Ensure the dispenser is placed away from ventilation systems or direct airflow for optimal performance.

• Avoid placing near smoke detectors.

Step 2: Open the Dispenser

• Press the button on the top of the unit or insert a small flathead screwdriver into the slot to open the front cover.

Step 3: Insert Batteries

• Insert 2 x AA batteries into the battery compartment, following the correct polarity.

• The LED light may flash briefly to indicate the unit is powered.

Step 4: Load the Refill

• Place the 265ml Puress aerosol can into the dispenser with the nozzle facing outwards and aligned with the spray mechanism.

• Ensure it sits securely in the holder.

Step 5: Set the Spray Interval

• Use the switch or dial inside the unit to select the spray interval (commonly every 7.5, 15, or 30 minutes).

• Some models may also include a day/night sensor or light settings.

Step 6: Mount the Dispenser

Option A – Wall Screws:

1. Mark two drill points using the back plate as a template.

2. Drill holes and insert wall plugs.

3. Screw the unit securely to the wall.

Option B – Adhesive Strips (if included or preferred):

• Use heavy-duty adhesive strips and press the dispenser firmly against the wall for at least 30 seconds.

Step 7: Close the Dispenser

• Gently close the front cover until it clicks shut.

• The unit may spray shortly after closing as part of the activation cycle.

Step 8: Test and Monitor

• Observe for the first spray to ensure it’s functioning correctly.

• Replace batteries and refills as needed (typically every 30–60 days depending on usage settings).
