1. Prepare the Area
Before placing the mat, make sure the urinal area is clean and dry. Wipe away any moisture or debris from the floor of the urinal bowl or trough.

2. Set the Date
Each urinal mat has tabs on the edge with sections for the month and day of installation.

Pull off the tabs that match the month and day you’re installing the mat — this helps you easily see when it needs to be replaced.

3. Position the Mat
Place the mat directly over the drain area, with the patterned or raised side facing up. Ensure it lies flat for proper drainage and splash control.

4. Check the Fit
Adjust the mat so it’s centred over the drain and not blocking water flow. The design helps trap debris and reduce splashing during use.

5. Replace as Needed
For the best hygiene and odour control, replace the urinal mat every 30 days, or more often if the washroom has high traffic. The date indicator helps track when it’s time for a new one.

6. Dispose Responsibly
When replacing the mat, wear disposable gloves. Remove the used mat and dispose of it in general waste. Clean the area thoroughly before fitting a new mat.
